I just bought a surface pro 2 brand new in the box for 125 dollars lol yup
125 dollars. Not a typo. I bought it from a crackhead.. God knows where he
got it from and I don’t really care…

That said, I like the speed and multi-tasking on the surface and the
absence of any lag… however there are a lot of apps I’m used to on
Android which I can’t seem to find on the windows store. I do like how it
features a full version of windows and the seamless switch to and from full
desktop mode. The pen is a nice touch but I’m used to that on my note 3 and
my note 10.1 (2014). Battery life is not the greatest but I can live with
    that.
I wouldn’t have bought one for regular retail price but I can safely say I
won’t be using my Samsung tablets or my wife’s iPad ever again.

You people defending the Surface Pro..First
The WINDOW8 ecosystem is not as good as in the Note 12.2 (Android). Second
you got 64gb Surface that takes up 36GB out of the 64 GB model. Why can’t
Microsoft slap a sticker on their tablet? Also Android has more tablets app
than Surface Pro. You get a better social experience with Android. Also the
Stylus on the Note 12.2 is really good..And for the price they are asking
on a Surface 2 I rather get a real Razor Tablet.

So I was thinking about the getting a surface pro 2 for working with photos
in Lightroom and Photoshop. but With the price of the Galaxy pro coming
down to $650 on amazon and having a bigger screen….. Is there a good way
to remote into a Windows 8 PC and retain pen control? I’m trying to keep
    the $650ish price point.

I got the Note Pro 12.2 but am considering trading for Surface Pro 2.
Unfortunately I use Microsoft for school and don’t think the Samsung pro is
compatible with Windows. Anyone, what do u suggest? I’m in need of Excel.
Is there Microsoft Excel product for Android? Closest I’ve found was HCell.

Wow you really should learn how to do accurate research. What a totally
biased review, clearly you must be getting some sort of remuneration from
    Microsoft.

You are comparing apples to oranges. The Surface Pro is a tablet PC, and
the Note Pro 12.2 is a Android tablet, that I think is a very good
companion for your PC. I never understood why Microsoft made the Surface in
the first place, just buy an Windows 8 Ultrabook problem solved. Many
Ultrabooks come with the ability to detach the keyboard and use it like a
tablet. My Ultrabook is less than an inch bigger than my tablet.

For me, having a powerful laptop or desktop computer (with Windows) + note
pro is the ultimate solution. A tablet with Windows is a no-no for me.

I’m so tired of people reviewing the Note Pro 12.2, and saying it is too
big, get a case people! The screen on the Note Pro is the same is size as
my Acer Ultrabook. Samsung designed it that way to give you the a laptop
experience on a tablet. I would never buy a windows tablet. I already own a
window Ultrabook and every time I get a windows update it always screws up
a few programs on my pc. And this has happened with every PC I have owned,
so it is just a windows issue. The last time a got a update, it knocked out
my firewalls. It took Microsoft almost a week to fix the problem, and yes,
the problem was on their end. When everything is working correctly on my pc
it’s almost scary to get a windows update. When my firewalls were down I
couldn’t work on my new website, so I bought a Note Pro 12.2, and it was a
Godsend! I was able to get a lot of work done on my website, while the
issues got resolved on my pc. My Ultra book is 2 years old, but it has more
ram, and my processor is faster than the Surface Pro. I think if you
already have a PC, the Note Pro 12.2 is a better companion device than the
Surface. Your Note Pro will not have those pesky windows issues, it has a
full office suite compatible with Microsoft Word, and it has a remote pc
app to to send files, and documents from you pc to your tablet and vice a
versa. I’m in the market for a new desktop pc so I can edit RAW photos and
video. This pc will do the heavy lifting, and my Note Pro, will take the
place of my laptop, which it already has, because I leave my laptop home
now, since I can do most of my work for my business on my Note Pro 12.2

I bought the samsung pro 12.2 tab and after a few days start to have
flickering in the screen when watching videos .The restart button stopped
the flickering for a few days ,then would return. I exchanged for another
samsung pro 12.2 and the same thing with the flickering. So disappointed
    with samsung.

Windows 8 has terrible scaling issues and everything looks tiny or blurry
on higv res displays. Surface pro 2 is nice but I don’t think Microsoft
will heavily discount it the way they did with the massively overproduced
surface 1. The note pro is obviously overpriced but because it is made of
plastic and has basically the same fab cpu as thr note 3 and note 10.1
2014, I think they will be able to heavily discount it soon enough. It
really is like writing on a piece of paper. I’ll be upgrading from my note
10.1 when the pro hits 500 on sale.

Why people have a problem with 12.2 inch screen? I love my note 12.2. I am
in love with it. Since the day I got my tablet I am in love with the screen
size. If you guys don’t like the size get the same product in 10.1 inch
screen. Don’t complain about the screen size jeez.

Honestly there really is no comparison between these two devices. The
Surface Pro is the best mobile experience out right now as far as mobility,
gaming, productivity, and browsing. Is it over priced? Yes, however, it
also has expansion ports for other devices, it has a full OS that can run
legacy software it has wonderful accessories, runs adobe flash, and top
notch build quality. The magnesium metal case on the Surface Pro makes it
    a solid piece of hardware.
