*Poor Adam, not only wasted $800 but now he’s going to experience the wrath
of the iFans for not bowing down before Apple and thanking them for their
    magnificent device*

This is the problem. Too few people are willing to stand up and tell it
like it is with regards to Apple. Any reasonable tech reviewer who looks at
the iPhone 6 series objectively will come away unimpressed like Adam (and
    myself).
Instead you have people whoring themselves out to do gushing reviews of
mediocre crap that costs twice what it’s worth. (I’m looking at you +The
Verge you two dollar whores of Tech)
Then, when someone does have the guts to tell it like it *actually* is, the
iFans flood them with hateful comments.
Well screw you guys. The truth is that the iPhone 6 /Plus are nothing
special and would only begin to be worth buying at less than half the
price. Even then, you’d be better off with a *still* cheaper Nexus 5 or an
on contract S5, Moto X, or Note 4.

Oh, and BTW +Adam Outler you forgot to mention just how ugly those plastic
inserts are in person. You’d think for $800-$1000 they could have come up
with a less tacky way to avoid another antennagate.

    *UPDATE*
Be sure to read my follow up post here because it doesn’t have to be this
    way.

What you have here, sir, is a neat collection of some of the silliest,
pettiest, and most refutable complaints about the iPhone. A third are
stupid, a third are just plain false, and the final third are both dumb and
incorrect. Let me go about and just debunk, let’s say, all of them:

alarm – You’re incorrect. iOS has separate ringer and app volume controls.
mail – Your network was slow, not the iPhone’s fault.
lockout – That’s a security feature, it’s there to prevent others from
    getting into your phone.
cables – Most people don’t need more than the 1 cable Apple gives you.
browsers – Safari is incredibly fast, I don’t know what you’re complaining
    about.
back button – No need for it, just swipe from the left edge of the screen.
home button – Almost all the home button functions close what’s on the
screen. Not that hard to learn.
notification animation – Swipe less hard and it will bounce less. The
accuracy of the momentum is quite impressive.
notification pop-ups – Again, use a swipe instead of the back button. Or
    just flick the notification off.
notification tray – Larger spacing makes it easier to read. You can swipe
between screens instead of using the tabs at the top.
customize today view – There’s an Edit button right at the bottom of the
    page.
speaker placement – Speakers on the front are ugly, on the back they’re too
quiet. Nowhere else to put them.

For every minor UI issue in iOS there are 10 far more significant ones in
Android. If you are really this picky I have no idea how you can stand
Android. Sadly, it’s far more likely you’ve simply run out of any valid
criticism of the iPhone, so this is all you’re left with.

Lol! The *REAL* iPhone 6 review by +Adam Outler ! I also have never
understood why iPhone is said to be an easy user experience. It gets me all
confused when I try it. The actions seem more complicated and the
restrictions drive me crazy. With Android, the user experience is up to the
user. The user can make it as simple or as complex as they want it to be.
Choice is always a good thing and iPhone gives you very few. *Stay tuned
to last few minutes of video*

Well first, if Android was is so great what’s the need for XDA Developers?
Why having to root your phone and install a different ROm?…

The iphone has a jailbreak community that’s much larger and works better
than android “developers” I’ve broke 2 android phones thanks to incorrect
instructions on XDA (so thank you guys) I’ve never had a problem installing
jailbroken apps from Cydia, even in that, iOS its just better.

and if you want to purchase a phone that is not a Flagship from a well
known manufacturer… well good luck with that, you almost never find roms
for hawaii, ZTE, Alcatel, Xiomi etc.

Android have come a long way, thats true, but so does iOS, before i used to
jailbroke the iphone to have the complete experience, but apple takes cues
from the cydia community unlike google. So I’m jailbroken now only because
i wanted an app thats not available in the Appstore

actually i can answer why the apple cable is $30, it has technology that
regulates the wattage the apple product needs which makes ipads (12watt)
and iphone (6 watt) charges interchangeable without the worry of the ipads
charger not overcharging and destroying the iphone battery and the iphone
charger slowly charging the ipad since the cable detects the required
amount needed and sends the correct wattage to each device. Just wanted to
make sure you know the price actually serves a purpose.

I used to use iphone, but now I switched to Android, but there is a lot of
shit about Android that I don’t like as well, especially the fact that the
OS is fragmented, such that you have to wait months for a system update.
There are also a lot of wonky software design things about my Note 4 that
need improvement. But what I hate the most is everybody trying to turn my
phone into a marketplace with bloatware. I shouldn’t have to research how
to root my device in order to root it. I bought the phone outright, so I
should be able to root it by pressing a few buttons on the phone.

So I found this video and I think it is a pretty good misrepresentation of
the iPhone. Most of the stuff he talks about is not even a big deal and is
actually kind of silly in my eyes. What stuff in the video are big deals
    for you guys?

A bit of a background for myself. I have used an iPod touch since the
second gen and just recently switched over to android by purchasing an
android phone. I must say I like both devices for certain reasons and I
dislike both devices for certain reasons. They are both good OSes made for
    different people.

The one thing I want to say, the back button is at the top of the screen
because the older iPhones are still out, and many people have it. So having
at the bottom would be odd. (Don’t Reply to this post, I won’t reply.)

throw it away and go back to your shitty lag android shit. no need to make
a useless video shitting on apple. seriously, you sound like a whinny
little bitch that likes to complain on every single thing.

This guy is entitled to his opinion, but he’s wrong on so many issues
regarding the iPhone hardware and iOS software it’s not even funny. But
he’s right as far as price. All these devices are over priced. And the
Apple charger cables prices are a joke.

I am just saying. It’s $600. Also, you can’t slam anything when you don’t
know how it works. If you did your research of the phone, you’d know that
the alarm sound CAN be changed and you do so in the sounds section in the
settings. Do your research, please before you slam any device. You had it
for 5 days before this. And you would ALSO know that the notifs can be
swiped up to get rid of them, and you can change the way they look. So
please stop shoving your unknowable opinion down our throats. Thank you.

We all kno this was a joke video. I love Adam and his videos but if this
were a serious video i would have to disagree with just about everything.
Basically the video is invalid. There is a very simple answer to ALL of his
bullshit problems. Sorry but as smart as he is he just made himself look
like a complete jackass. Good thing hes just trolling.

This is what I observed on the video:

I’ve been using an iPhone since 2010 and I never complain anything about it
even in a single bugs or crash which has every phone does. I am a techi guy
too! I tried to switch to android but I feel more comfortable with an iOS.
Indeed that both OS are designed for different people. Clearly that iOS
won’t work for you since it did not meet your expectations.

There are no perfect phones. And it’s like a relationship. We have to
provide room for mistakes and/or error.

Instead of complaining in your videos and telling people what are the
things “you” don’t like about the said topic, why not generalize? Come up
with a brighter idea that balance everything. You’re not the only person
who is using mobile phones. You can always make any comments for
improvement in such a way that everyone will understand.

Remember that you are creating videos not only for you but also for your
viewers. Your main purpose is to let them understand what are the things
that can or can’t and has or hasn’t. Room for improvements if there’s any.
