I just bought one on Ebay…Thanks for your Review…because of you i was
able to make my decision…Thanks for sharing..you did a great Job…I like
the fact that the controls are built in and it’s a normal Tablet….specs
are not that far off from the Nvidia so i’m convinced…JXD S7800b is what
    i bought..

JXD S7800b is an excellent device, whatever its use. Has a great CPU that
provides full emulation capability to the device and performing other tasks
on the Android system. GPU has a simple but fulfilling its function and
shows its capability in more demanding games. The battery life can reach up
to seven hours (doing simple tasks and simple games).

Very informative video. I’m hoping to get my hands on a JXD S7800b in the
near future, and very much looking forward to it :)

here in the uk, they just dropped the wikipad to £69, and the jxd is £89,
great value considering what these can do.

can you purchase the s7800b completely in English? I ended up having a
shitload of mistakes and erased some good stuff trying to read the chinese

i do notice one thing with the JXD S7800b…when i’m plaing free games from
google play store. im getting a lot of Ad’s pop up. With the NVidia Shield
i don’t recall getting pop up Ad’s suddenly appearing on screen. is there a
feature on the JXD that i can adjust to prevent this?

Wikipad is outdated and jxd isn’t that trustworthy so shield seems like the
    best

So, if you’re seeking primarily a AAA title portable gaming machine, the
Shield is best, but if you want a machine that is good at gaming
hardware-wise (just not the best; Shield is the best), multimedia, Internet
browsing, etc., and has a ton of proprietary free games — though they may
not be in English, then JXD is best? (And except for the fact that the
controller portion of the WIKIPAD is removable, it basically is a
    non-contender?)

i think i am gonna stick with the nvidia shield mainly because of the
compatibility issues with the jxd and because the wikipad is so dang slow

I agree completely with your review, I picked the JXD after weeks of
research into all the machines. I considered the Nvidia machine heavily but
the smaller screen and form factor are negatives in my opinion. The
horsepower of the Shield is undeniable, but how many games out on the
Android market actually make use of it? I am sure more will in the future
but right now it seems better to invest in something cheaper that gets the
job done. The Wikipad was why I found this review… My wife has stolen my
JXD and now I am shopping for a 2nd device for myself… Ironically in the
6 months I have owned the S7800 things have not changed a lot. The Shield
got a price drop but it’s still more expensive than the JXD and the power
doesn’t get you more emulators or play Candy Crush any better. So it looks
like unless I can find something better in the next couple of days I may
end up with a 2nd JXD.

hate how the shield has the controller under it during play. doesn’t feel
practical. sure it’s way more technologically superior, but I definitely
prefer the controller mechanism to be on the sides so the screen is right
there in front of me. otherwise I feel detached using a full-on controller
for a 5 inch screen. with a bigger screen and way better price tag, the JXD
7800b takes the cake for me. I care more for emulation anyways

I still think the Ouya is the best one. It doesn’t use the Google Play
Store, but it has it’s own store that works well.
