I wish there was a screen that had TRUE Blacks AND TRUE white. That would
    be GREAT contrast.

A PenTile display at 1080p is less sharp then a traditional pixel geometry
display. In Other words, the 1080p display translates into an image similar
to 800p-900p. An extreme estimate will be 640p. This is my guess because I
have loss confidence with the S4 display.

    I prefer the S4, I don’t really care for a brighter display.

While being just about 5% less accurate on colors “barely even noticeable”
it still shows true black, has extreme contrasts, and has a more proper
white balance. Which in turns actually makes it overall way more natural.
lack of contrast, high white balance, and faded/ghosted greys are not
natural or accurate. Like it or not it’s fact. The blue tint becomes more
noticeable on camera. I have noticed this myself after a couple years. And
each Amoled has gotten brighter. The S4 even actually gets

There can be light leakage, but it’s not a problem on the HTC One or other
phones with premium LCD panels. Oh, and to prove I have a phone with an HD
AMOLED panel, go to my channel.

LCD panels will even be brighter when set to auto brightness. You know for
a fact that everything I said is accurate. How am I a troll for calling
AMOLED technology exactly what it is? It is young and inferior. Also, I
said the diodes deteriorate quickly, not rapidly. Maybe you should try
    again.

Also Google “UL certifies the 4.99 FHD display on the Samsung Galaxy S4”
“According to UL, the screen on the Samsung Galaxy S4 offers one of the
best color reproductions in the mobile industry with the broadest color
gamut of up to 97% for the Adobe RGB color space. The screen is said to
have one of the best contrast ratios and can be better seen under bright
sunlight than the display on many of the phone’s rivals.”

Um try again. And the only time full brightness comes in handy is out in
sunlight. To which LCD panels turned all the way up are not completely
accurate either. So for normal indoor usage and moderate lighting that is
just fine. Think before posting. As for claiming to not be a troll and then
saying its an inferior infant that degrades quickly….You really shouldn’t
contradict yourself. It degrades faster not rapidly.

Because 265 ppi is the highest you can go without harming the display on
AMOLED without Pentile, which is coincidentally the same as the Note II.
Pentile basically means there are only 2/3 the amount of subpixels that
should be there. That 1/3 of subpixels they take out are blue subpixels,
and it just so happens that blue subpixels are the most harmful on AMOLED
displays. If they hadn’t of used Pentile on the GS4, the display would die
very quickly due to the higher count of blue subpixels.

Most disappointing point of Galaxy is burn-in problem of OLED. That’s the
reason i go for HTC One.

For example, if you browse to a page, then flick up and down on the screen
repeatedly, alternating the actions, you will see what I mean. It would
occasionally fail to register the action! Is this really what I’m supposed
to expect from a 1.9ghz quad core 2gb RAM phone? It just highlights the
Samsung tendency to squander the resources of their flagship device on
useless crap that slows the phone down, or reduces the perceived speed of
    the device.

S4 has a richer look. Htc is only brighter. Which thats the reason the shit
    dies fast.
