honestly have small hands so im using an apple device and Yes apple copied
off samsung etc but THEY copied fingerprint scanner. Let’s just say so i

different way can you shut up please?

I personally say apple devices since it takes me a while to get used to

Like he said, it’s like comparing apples and oranges, but in my opinion
it’s like comparing bacon to pizza, both are some of the best out there,
but they are NOTHING alike. So it is hard to compare the two

I have both. iOS is much better, no bloat ware from service provider.
iPhone for personal usage, easy connection to my macs, etc. Everything
works perfect. I have the Galaxy for coding, where I need an external
drive and faking stuff, it doesn’t lock things down, yet. I refused an
iPhone 6 because it looks like all cheap made androids. Steve Jobs would
not be happy if he was alive. Put in an external on iPhone and I can fake
stuff on coding then I would stay with just the iPhone. Though I am glad
they are different and hope they stay different. But, iPhone stop making it
look crappy like an android, lol.

Ruling in court in Midwest (I think) about finger print phones say they can
be opened by police, it’s not covered by 5th Amendment while phones with
key codes cannot be forced by law to have owner give up their code to open
their phones. Lot’s of commotion to follow….and how about the soon to be
on market phone that can pick up if someone is lying by scanning facial
gestures? It’s getting insane in tech land.

People just buy the Overpriced Iphones for just the apple logo alone. In my
opinion, but then again, people these days aren’t very smart or wise about
how to manage their money. I personally wait 2 years to upgrade my phone.
That way I get a huge upgrade, just like I did from the LG Revolution in
2011 to the Galaxy Note 2 in April of last year. So my next new phone will
probably be a Note 4, or maybe a Note 5 if I could hold out till October or
    November of 2015.

Listen up Apple Fanboys! Apple did not invent anything! 100% nothing was
discovered by apple and btw Those guys who buy everything from apple really
got to try out some samsung stuff like the samsung watch that answers phone
calls and more unlike the apple watch that needs a phone to make it work
and that phone is a IPHONE THAT SUCKS SOOOOO MUCH!!!

I have never used an iphone. I recently had the galaxy s4 which was a good
phone, but when I went for an upgrade the employee who helped preferred the
new s5 because of the features. Wow, what a phone. You won’t be
disappointed if you do go with the galaxy.

    Facts and Flaws

A technical response to various Flawed comments including flaws from Julian
    Pamplin

“The reason? Android fans are used to basing their opinions of devices on
    numbers/specs.”

Engineers use specs. It determines the maximum processing capability
especially after OS upgrades with it comes improved efficiency for that
device. Released devices are never started optimal since there is so many
android devices. In the long run it can only improve. Therefore, Numbers
and specs must be considered. Many also do not consider software
    optimizations.

“Apple fans have come to know that numbers mean nothing in terms of
    real-world application.”

    This comment is fundamentally flawed
Apple fans are truly ignorant in this case. In real world applications
Windows is the most heavily supported in terms of drivers and also offer
the highest framerates. This doesn’t just apply to games but also in 3D
graphic design like 3DS MAX and CAD based applications. In terms of a
phone, a desktop is very effective at organizing along with other built in
features which allow application switch. Another thing to note, the Samsung
high dpi Phones also have to maintain reasonable fps for driving a higher
    resolution screen.

“rating the higher resolution screen as superior to a lower resolution
display doesn’t account for color accuracy, glare, or touch responsiveness
    and accuracy.”

Here’s some missed points that I will note

    1. Glare can be counteracted by a protective screen that is matte,
but the downside is the screen would not look as nice.
    2. Color accuracy – Calibration – Also you are on old information.
White Point is supposed to be 6504, Samsung achieved between 6,429 and
6,541 on the S5. The Apple 5s was displaying 7,403. In terms of dE2000
averages the S5 has the same color accuracy as Apple. But when you are
saying accuracy, it is not like we are working on photos. Would anyone here
really want to edit on a phone? In a real world application that is not
going to happen. A nice high contrast screen is of much higher benefit and
    is much more attractive.
    3. Contrast, OLED technology allows for the best grayscale and
Contrast. You will not see your phone if you are using a black wallpaper.
    4. In a real world application those are maintained. We are not
playing Crysis on a phone. In real world use for the majority of
applications. You would not be running into choppiness. For a phone to
multitask, ram is in general more helpful especially when loaded on tabs.
    5. Touch responsiveness. Samsung note series uses a WACOM digitizer,
used by many digital artists this is a highly accurate. It will not be any
less accurate or responsive. Instead the Notes series will much more
sensitive because of “levels of pressure sensitivity”

“Those factors matter but Android fans just want to hear higher numbers.”

As noted from facts above ignoring numbers is just plain ignorance. Tell
the engineers to ignore numbers and see how far you will get with your R&D.

“Some Android fans swear that more megapixels means superior camera
performance…even after constant proof that iPhones take better pictures
regardless of the number of megapixels.”

    1. Does not change the fact that detail would still remain higher and
low artifacts in reasonable situations. Having a high resolution image will
allow you to zoom in while maintaining sharpness. Of course don’t expect
    DSLR Quality pictures
    2. A phone is not designed to be a professional Camera
    3. If I was worrying about better pictures I would be buying a DSLR
    4. Understanding what specs ultimately mean would help you as long
with other specs of the camera. In general use of zooming happens a lot on
touch screen. Megapixels and good general performance would go further in
this application. Poor photography is also not good comparisons

“Android fans assume higher numbers means smoother and faster performance
yet benchmarks tell a different story. The only time Android fans cite
“specs don’t matter” is when you reference 64-bit tech in Apple’s A7 and A8
    chips.”

    1. 64bit is really only useful if the software can use it.
    2. 64bit will not be fully utilized by most applications because most
are in 32 it is all for bragging rights and will not actually yield a
performance gain unless you and address that much memory.
    3. The speed difference on benchmarks are too small to actually yield
a difference. Just like playing any games with a powerful gpu, although
your FPS is 200 vs 300. Your monitor will only show a max of 60/120. Human
eye see about 60-80 in general.
    4. The processor is based on ARM they also did not create the
Instruction Architecture. They created an ARM though partnership.
    5. Android fans with phones with reasonable specs can have the same
    smoothness.

Other than the above comments and why choosing an Android phone offers YOU
    significant benefits:

    1. Flexibility – Desktop, Choice
    2. Battery – You swap if you need to, Or bring an extra for a camping
    trip
    3. Storage – You can get 32GB for a bit less than 20$ 64GB for about
40 in some places. More storage = more photos and videos. Full and don’t
    want to delete? Just swap.
    4. Screen – Contrast! Depending on the phone… OLEDs offer the best
contrast. This technology is more advanced than your current panels and
have a higher potential then conventional LCD. Backlit LCD has been known
for changing the color temperature effecting color accuracy.
    5. Plastic – I do not understand why people bash polycarbonate. It’s
flexible and allows for expandability. We are not buying a phone for looks,
we are buying for usability. It’s even used in bulletproof glass. It’s not
about being cheap, it about having a usable and much more effective product.
    6. Recording okay… yes it can record 4k, its future proofing. Having
a 4k monitor makes thinks really nice for me. Eventually the standard will
move to 4k. Just copy onto the computer with a powerful CPU. What we really
    need now is better compression.

Please note Samsung is not the end all either, Sony, HTC and a couple
others also make some reasonable products.
