The nexus 5 is faster because your comparing an iPhone 5 (2012) and a Nexus
5 (2013). The newer phone is obviously gonna be faster. IOS 7.1 is
snappier, and ios 8 is more customizable than ios 7 and the animations are
almost the same speed as the ios 6 ones.

Using an LG Optimus G Pro running Kit Kat 4.4.2. This phone’s been out for
over a year & I have never seen it lag. The battery life is by far THE BEST
I’ve ever seen thanks to the Kit Kat update. Compared to my brother’s
iPhone 5S, the difference in speed is hardly noticeable. I feel as if
they’re equal to each other. Not all android phones have lag & there are a
few that perform better than the iPhone. LG smart phones are underrated IMO
& people only tend to compare Samsung’s phones with the iPhone & that’s why
most people complain that Android is “Laggy” or slow.

IOS is for people who are noobs at phones. Its designed for easy use. (Im
not trieng to be angry). The andrioid has more functions like opening
folders and saving any format file like. txt, swf, apk and 1000 more. From
andriod you are able to download from the internet wich is not possible
from the IOS. The andriod Operation system works faster and can be used for
a really long time if you know how to use phones propperly. I have my
andriod phone for 5 years already and it still works better then the IOS.
The Andriod has a better energy life because of its new power savign mode.
Yesterday i was on my phone downloading stuff and watching a movie while my
device was on 1%. after 1 hour it still didnt turn off.

I’ve used android for about five years now and there hasn’t been one phone
that I haven’t had to root with all the bloatware and usual features
running all the time your phone tends to lose a lot of speed after 3 or 4
months, don’t get me wrong android is still great but I don’t want to have
to worry about it like its a pc, I will be getting an iPhone in a few
    weeks.

The more freedom a device grants you the better it is. If we assume that
this is one of the basic prerequisites for a device / OS to have, then
Android beats iOS and its stupid iTunes.

On the other hand if we give priority to simplicity and practicality (apart
from some exceptions within both OS’s) iOS has an edge over Android.

For me though the iTunes nightmare is a reason, serious enough, to get a
Note Pro LTE vs a new ipad (I have an ipad 3 which is just fine). I also
own a Note 2 phone which is great. The stylus is fantastic when you want to
take a fast note or you want to sketch something on the go. I also had
(until recently) a Nexus 7 (2013) that was excellent overall apart from
proving too fragile (its beautiful screen – one of the best I’ve seen –
shuttered on a simple drop to the ground even though the tablet had a
silicon sleeve on). Defender cases are a good investment for these
    tablets…

I own a Note 3 and an iPhone 5 and I use my Note 3 daily. I use my iPhone a
couple of times a week just because I miss some specific things in it. The
fluency and absolute perfectly optimized apps. It’s very seamless and
doesn’t take much to understand it. That’s also the reason why 8 year old
girls run around with iPhones… Note 3 seems more mature in some way and
    it can do, well, everything.

For all you iSheep I speak for every Android fan when I say this and Thumbs
Up so the isheep can flee All ifans dont worry iOS 8 will bring you
another row of static icons and the iphone 6 will have a 5 inch screen and
suddenly a 5 inch phone will be a “sweet spot” and it will have a quadcore
processor and 2 gigs of ram and iCNET will bloat about how innovative that
is for a mobile phone I mean lets be honest we all know its coming

I recently had the pleasure of using my sister-in-laws Samsung Galaxy Note
3 for a week. Everything about that phone was better than our iPhones.
The interface was much faster than IOS and every app seemed snappier. The
screen layout and clarity was like coming out of the dark ages and into the
21st century. The camera was simply amazing. I was blown away and I will
be switching all of my family’s phones out next month for a bunch of Note
4’s. I don’t even see this comparison as a close one. Apple and IOS suck.
I will be happy to be rid of them.

All you isheep that say android lags after sometime. You haven’t used the
nexus 5. Or you say updates are slow. You still don’t use the nexus 5. The
only thing iOS wins is the app store with more apps. And as he said in the
video apps are free on android. All you guys know hands down that iOS is
simple and many pple just buy it for the apple logo

andriod is junk…(im writing thus comment on andriod) ive used ios 7
before and its the best it just feels solid, google has to develope andriod
for tons of diffrent phones which means they cant concentrate on a single
phone. i have so many flaws on this junk galaxy s3 and i will be buying a
iphone 5s or the 6. i dont care what you fandroids say!

    features

People need to stop bitching about Apple copying Android. Without the
iPhone, Samsung would not be anywhere close to as popular as it is now.
Both companies are innovative and both have their attributes.
